Families Helping Families 


Our group includes people who are waiting to adopt, are exploring the possibility of adopting, or have successfully adopted.

We are dedicated to helping prospective adoptive parents make their way through the often-stressful and bewildering world of adoption.

We also provide ongoing support to parents raising adopted children and information to address adoption issues and questions at every age and stage. The children enjoy friendships with other children that were adopted. 

Our goal is to provide both insight and empathy to members, and help them realize that they are by no means alone.

• A pediatrician who discussed how to minimize the risks of international adoption.
• A birth mother who told of her decision to make an adoption plan for her baby.
• A social worker who explained how to explain adoption to your children.
