Please come with questions that we will open up to the group for answers and discussion. In the past at Open Discussion meetings we have discussed, home studies, birthparent contact, how to pick an agency/type of adoption, legal process of adoption, foster-to-adopt, and issues as adopted children grow. (just to name a few!)

Please bring a covered dish to share (no desserts). Drinks, dessert, and paper products provided. Halloween costumes encouraged!
This meeting is also great for prospective adoptive parents to meet members in the group who have adopted and learn from our own experts.

Dr. Springer has provided specialty health services to domestically and internationally adopted children since 1995. Please bring your questions and concerns for Dr. Springer to address.
APRIL 12, 2012 - (7:00pm) New Birthparent Contact Laws, presented by attorney Lisa Goodyear

Attorney Goodyear will discuss the birthparent contact law that came out last year as well as general adoption law.
